DIY BEAUTY: REVITALISING LEMON & ROSEMARY BATH SOAK

This easy to make, inexpensive bath soak does wonders for your skin. Not only are all the ingredients natural and easy to come by they leave your skin feeling fresh and revitalised. Why this soak is so effective is all to do with the ingredients*:

Lemon is a natural antiseptic and has the ability to not only reduce the visibility of scars and acne but also acts as a natural exfoliant, removing dead skins cells.

Rosemary is believed to increase blood flow aiding in skin toning and firming. It also acts an an astringent reducing excess oil on the skin and helping acne.

Sea Salt is a natural exfoliant that is believed to increase blood flow and reduce fluid retention. Sea salt is also believed to relieve stress and aid in sleep.

Almond Oil adds moisture to the skin and can help relieve dry ichy skin. Unlike other oils almond oil is absorbed into the skin without leaving a greasy residue.

In a large bowl combine the juice of 2 lemons, Rind of 1/2 lemon, 2 tablespoons almond oil along with 500 grams of course sea salt and some rosemary leaves. Stir well and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 weeks. To use simply sprinkle a few spoonfuls of the mixture into a hot bath and allow yourself to soak.
