    I’ve been wanting to make these for ages, but have been slightly put off with recipes involving yeast and having to wait several hours to cook. These look delicious and the recipe doesn’t seem too complex….. I’m turning the oven on :)

      Have to agree yeast can be such a hassle to work with! Be sure to let me know how they turn out :)

    Hiya…loving the yummy pix…so much so that I immediately printed out the recipe, dashed to the kitchen & grabbed the ingredients…only to have my cinnamon roll urge halted in it’s tracks…85gr of butter AND 100gr of butter are listed…aaaa…which is it? or perhaps both? With my tummy rumbling for the sticky rolls I split the difference only to have another recipe conundrum to solve…what does one do with the 2/3 cup milk in the list of ingredients? As it’s not mentioned in the how-to I splashed a bit o’ milk into the dough anyway…needless to say…it didn’t work out & my sticky cinnamon roll craving is still poking at me…please…please…my tummy is begging you…fix-up the recipe so I can make this delectable treat =O)

      Hi,
      Apologies for the poor editing. I typed this recipe up in a rush and it looks like I forgot to edit!
      To answer your questions;
      100 Grams of butter is required, 50 grams for the dough and 50g for the filling. The first time I made these I used 85 grams of butter (in total) but increased this the next time I made them and it worked out better. You add the milk after you have rubbed in half the (50 grams) butter. You should have what looks like little “peebles” once the butter has been rubbed in. When you add the milk to these “peebles” do it gradually, this will form the soft dough. Add more flour/milk at this stage if need be. You can then knead the dough and roll it out.
      If you like you can add some raisins to the mix :)

      I’ve edited the recipe now so it should all be ok now. If you have any problems feel free to contact me again.

      Thanks, Becky, K.

    100grams of butter = what. I only know how to go by cup sizes or tablespoons and teaspoon. So what would 100 grams be for me?

      Hi,
      Grams are an Australian form of measurement. 1 ounce= 28 grams so about 3.5 ounces or 5 tablespoons.
      Hope that helps!
